Pierre Bourdon
Pierre Bourdon is, quite simply, one of the finest parfumeurs of all time. A graduate of the Political Studies Institute, Bourdon switched tracks as a young man and studied perfumery at Roure under the great Edmond Roudnitska. His compositions include some of the most iconic and well-known fragrances of the past several decades including Kouros, Cool Water, Green Irish Tweed and Féminité du Bois (Féminité du Bois was jointly composed by Pierre Bourdon and Christopher Sheldrake). More recently he has composed fragrances for Frédéric Malle's Éditions de Parfums and French niche house MDCI.
