Nicole Mancini Issaq

Nicole joined Givaudan in 2000 after graduating Cum Laude from Montclair State University. She was planning to work temporarily before attending chiropractic school but instantly fell in love with the world of fragrance. Perfumery combines the artistic design side she had since a young child with her fascination and appreciation of the mind-body connection. She attended the Givaudan School of Perfumery in France in 2003, after spending three years in the Applications & Quality Control laboratories. Upon return, she trained under the guidance of Jack Agran, Senior VP of Perfumery. Nicole has worked in the Consumer Products division focusing on air care and personal care brands. She has had many successes globally working with Ann Gottlieb and other global clients. Her fragrances have reached multi-million dollar returns. She has recently joined the Fine Fragrance team in NYC where she will focus on all Specialty retail brands and local fine fragrance clients. Well-versed in the technical aspects of perfumery, Nicole enthusiastically welcomes artistic challenges. Her inspirations come from two different paths both rooted in nature. Nicole loves both the mountains and the sea which fill her with endless ideas to explore in her creations. “How do I recreate the scent of redwoods or the experience of walking on the beach or simply a happy, uplifting sensation?” She appreciates the power of scent through her studies in psychology, with its focus on the mind-body connection. “You touch people’s lives in many different ways as a perfumer, and when my fragrances give other people pleasure, I feel like I’ve accomplished something special and important.”
