Description The naturally occurring vanillin content of cork & oak serves as the foundation to a meticulous reconstruction of pipe tobacco. Brown sugar, molasses, cocoa, honey, rum, vanilla, cherry, plum, carob and clove are among some of the most commonly used ingredients to dress particular blends of pipe tobacco - mason jars of tobacco cuts suspended above rums and bourbons marinating in the vapor, syrups and spices sprayed and dried. These complex tobacco casings are channeled through the slow bloom of how a perfume formula evolves from the years of accords and scent sketches to illustrate the distance between ragged raw brown tobacco leaves and my own interpretation of a coffee/cork pipe tobacco dressing, or how a tobacco shop would smell in a dream - something of immeasurable comfort. A Russian doll of tobacco shops inside coffee shops inside tobacco shops inside coffee shops, eternally with abandon. Tobacco, coffee, cocoa, and rum all in the pocket of a pillowy soft dual cork/oak extract top an expansive notes list. It is a thick, dark, potent perfume (unfiltered - it will age as incredibly as it will stain) that soars even in trace amounts and will bring you comfort when nothing else will.
