Description Forest of the Golden Dream is the first in an all-new collection of perfumes inspired by healing rituals called Les Potions D'Entéléchie.  The fragrance, perfected over 8 years with IFF’s master perfumer Celine Barel and Parfums Quartana under the direction of Founder and Creative Director Joseph Quartana’s vision, is inspired by his own healing experiences. The new collection harkens back to the healing practices of ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome and will be released sequentially rather than all at once to highlight their individually unique properties. 

Forest of the Golden Dream immediately takes the wearer to an enchanted forest, pine needles crunch underfoot, crisp evergreen hanging in the air, and a golden solar radiance throughout.

The central hallmark of Forest of the Golden Dream and the perfumes of Les Potions D'Entéléchie is the Aristotelian concept of entelechy - invoking the complete and full potential of one's being, through exposure to combinations of sacred essential oils.  This is historically the first use of ritual perfumery as an accompaniment for communication with “the gods” in order to channel a primordial energy to enlighten and enliven the wearer. Forest of the Golden Dream and the perfumes of Les Potions D'Entéléchie inspire living one's full potential all day, every day. Created minutes from the site of the original Woodstock Music and Arts Festival in Bethel, NY, the new fragrances are a supercharged reboot of aromatherapy that blend the best of cutting-edge science with the wisdom of ancient wellness formulae. Inspired by the new fragrance, Award-winning Film Director Rob Barriales renders a vision of the experience of Forest of the Golden Dream with a 3-minute short film scored by Michael Zodorozny of the seminal electro-punk art band Crash Course in Science.
