Jakub Hiermann
Jakub Florian Hiermann’s path into perfumery began with early memories of his grandmother’s collection of luxury fragrances. This first contact with iconic scents sparked a lasting interest that later led him to pursue formal training in London, where he spent six years developing his skills in fragrance creation.
In 2018, Hiermann co-founded Pigmentarium together with Tomáš Ric, establishing the first niche perfume house in the Czech Republic. As the creative force behind the brand, he composed six distinctive fragrances that interpret Czech culture in a modern way.
His creative approach centers on designing fragrances that express individuality rather than following trends. He deliberately moves beyond traditional gender categories, focusing instead on emotional resonance and personal identity. This is clearly reflected in Azabache, created in collaboration with Spanish designer Arturo Obegero, where floral and woody elements are combined in a balanced and fluid way.
