"We grew up with a deep fascination for perfume. Through testing, learning and experiencing, whether behind the scenes or in the shop, we've come to realise that the perfume industry is undergoing very few changes, and that preconceived ideas remain tenacious: haute parfumerie should be exclusive and elitist, more an object of dreams than a tool to be used in life. People continue to believe that an expensive perfume is necessarily better, that a ‘vegan’ label is enough to be virtuous, or that only essences from Grasse are a sign of quality. FASCENT was born out of this desire to shake things up and make niche perfumes more affordable, liberated, vibrant and sustainable. At FASCENT, we create instinctive fragrances, to be worn alone or as part of a layering, to accompany the emotions, moods and facets of each person."-founders Fanny and Edwina
