10th Anniversary Party with Josh Meyer & Ashod Simonian from Imaginary Authors

It's an emotional time over here at Fumerie, as we are brimming with pride and gratitude during our 10th Anniversary Celebration. We're only one day into the month, and we've already been visited by so many of our wonderful community members, both in-store and online. Whether it's familiar faces dropping by to explore all the exciting new goodies that just arrived, or folks sending us heartwarming emails and messages, we're feeling the love, and we definitely want to give it right back to you!

This is why we are over the moon to announce that our next in-store event will be more of a party than our standard ticketed Q & A events, and will rightfully center on the beloved Portland perfume brand Imaginary Authors and their incredible newest release, Impassable Wilderness. Imaginary Authors has been with Fumerie since day one, all ten years, and is likely responsible for more folks' interest in artful, playful, and independent perfumery than any other brand we carry (including our manager Michael!). To us, there is absolutely no more perfect way to celebrate our Tenth Anniversary than with the cofounders of Imaginary Authors, and as many of our fragrance friends as possible!

Join us, as well as Josh Meyer (Imaginary Authors' perfumer and Co-Founder) and Ashod Simonian (Imaginary Authors' Creative Director and Co-Founder), after hours Sunday, October 25th from 4:30 - 7 PM to mingle with fellow smell nerds and community members, explore Impassable Wilderness and other Imaginary Authors fragrances, and enjoy some fun surprises from our friends & neighbors! Enjoy Imaginary Authors-inspired cocktails and mocktails from our next-door neighbors at 1919 Lounge, and some surprises from our friends down the street (and Imaginary Authors collaborators), Salt & Straw, as well!

This informal social event will not only be a great opportunity to celebrate Fumerie's anniversary and meet other members of this wonderful community, but it will equally serve as the Grand Premier of Impassable Wilderness, a fragrance co-created by the team behind the film Wildwood by local film production studio Laika!

To help us celebrate the launch of this Portland-themed collaboration, McMenamin's Bagdad Theater has been kind enough to collaborate with us for our party as well; by providing folks with the opportunity to experience Impassable Wilderness in the most ideal way possible: right after seeing the film that inspired it! We're happy to share that folks who attend the 12 PM or 3:15 PM showings of Wildwood at the Bagdad Theater the day of our party can then come by Fumerie to experience the accompanying fragrance and receive a FREE 2ml surprise spray sample from Imaginary Authors by showing your ticket!**

In addition to this wildly exciting event, as a huge THANK YOU to our beloved community of the best patrons in the entire world, we are celebrating our ten-year anniversary all of October by offering 10% off nearly every fragrance product we sell (including samples)!

What this means for you is that nearly every fragrance* we offer (including sample sizes) will be 10% off for the entire month of October! There is no need to input a code, as all discounts will be automatically added in your cart.
