Description  Inspired by the Italian opera of the same name, Vêpres Siciliennes straddles the thin line between the carefree fun of a floral fragrance and the classy elegance of a chypre for something altogether new and delightful. The fragrance opens with an almost candied citrus accord and a warm spiciness (cardamom and pepper). There is a pronounced verdancy to the composition that lasts for the life of the fragrance and serves to distance Vêpres Siciliennes from the neon fruity florals offered by so many lesser lines. The base is woody and green as the leafy notes of the heart give way to the forest green hues of oakmoss. A modern floral chypre for those who still like to have a little fun.
