Description According to Lubin, Black Jade a modern day reconstruction of a fragrance originally created for Marie Antoinette. Anachronisms aside—many of the dominant materials of Black Jade were either not yet part of the perfumer's palette or, in the case of many synthetics, not yet discovered—Black Jade is a beautiful rose and patchouli fragrance, certainly fit for royalty. Black Jade opens with green notes of galbanum and the exotic touch of cardamom. The heart of the fragrance is dominated by a rich rose accord and rests on a base of patchouli and incense.
