What I hadn't planned on was having the honor of working with a perfumer that I hold dear and have great admiration for, Meo Fusciuni. My first experience smelling our finalized creation was pure joy. Meo had taken this project to heart and brought nuance, complexity, and deep emotion. Initially, my brief included dry cocoa, patchouli, and tobacco. In his singular manner, Meo played on these materials but brought forward an entirely new and fascinating creation. Yes, the notes that I had provided were present, but the story was much more enchanting than I could have even anticipated. The slightly reserved animalic notes were the perfect soft growl that gave this fragrance a notable depth and profundity.
